Join the
Door - Knocking Team
in District 12
We’re building a people-powered campaign by showing up—block by block, conversation by conversation. If you can give 60–90 minutes, we’ll get you trained and paired up.
What Door-Knocking looks like
You’ll knock doors in Dane County Supervisor District 12
You’ll introduce the campaign and listen to what matters to residents
You’ll leave a palm card (we provide materials)
You’ll be paired up if it’s your first time
No arguing. No pressure. Just respectful neighbor-to-neighbor conversations.

Safety and respect are non-negotiable
We canvass in pairs or small groups. We respect “no soliciting” signs and skip any situation that doesn’t feel safe.
Our standard:
Be polite and brief
If someone isn’t interested, thank them and move on
We don’t debate at doors
Quick training—no experience needed
Each shift starts with a 10-minute walkthrough:
What to say (script)
What to do if someone has questions
When to skip a door
How to log notes
